Nd: GdVO₄ crystal Neodymium-doped gadolinium orthovan-adate single crystal (Nd:GdVO₄) is used for diode-pumped lasers. Like Nd:YVO₄ crystals, Nd:GdVO₄ crystals have high gain. They also have low threshold, high absorption coeffi- cients at pumping wavelengths, strongly polarized laser output, and a high laser-induced-damage threshold. Laser-beam profi ling system

The ModeScan Model 1780 uses a patented technique with 10 reflective surfaces to form 10 simultaneous images of the beam onto a CCD detector array. The M² and all associated ISO 11146 parameters are measured and updated over 20 Hz. It can analyze CW, pulsed, and single-shot lasers over the 250 to 1100 nm wavelength range in real time.
